The Memory Support Program at The Seabury is for those with early to mid-stage Alzheimer’s Disease or other related disorders. These state-of-the-art designed accommodations allow residents to maintain their independence and freedom within a safe and secure environment. Residents can stroll freely without fear of traveling into unsafe territory and can reside in a community that maximizes independence and freedom. A completely enclosed Memory Garden was built in 2006 to provide a beautiful outdoor park setting for residents to enjoy.

The Seabury also offers a unique intergenerational program with the children from The Early Learning Center at Fieldhome. “The children from the Early Learning Center bring new life and recollection of past experiences during each visit” Diana Penna, Administrator of The Seabury at FIELDHOME, says. “The residents and children always bring smiles to each other’s faces.”

Alzheimer's Support Group

The Seabury offers a support group for caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s and other memory impairments in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Association. The group meets twice a month and is open to families of residents and members of the community free of charge. Registration is required; please call (914) 737-2255.
