Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567
Dear Mr. Ahearn:
I wanted to send you a letter of gratitude from our family for the wonderful care my father-in-law received as a patient at Field Home during his recent rehab stay.
From admit thru discharge, all of the staff was fantastic in their coordinated delivery of care. Nursing, rehab, food services, admin, social work/case management and others all deserve recognition for their efforts. Although everyone was excellent, the following individuals deserve special mention...Joe Sullivan, Maria Morrissey, Judy Gorinson, and Lori Gest. In addition I would like to commend Deborah MacDonald, the entire nursing staff of unit 1-A, and notably patient aides Godwin and Nate. All of these people did an outstanding job bringing my father-in-law back to a level of function better than he was before his hospitalization.
As a practicing physician in Westchester, it has been an absolute pleasure to see first hand the great work done at Field Home. This will allow me to personally recommend your institution to any of my patients who will need either short term rehab or longer term skilled nursing. I am sure that you are proud of your staff and the top notch work that they do.
Sincerely,
Robert Newborn MD

Dear Ms. Madden,
I felt it necessary to write to let you know how pleased I was with the care received while being a resident at Field Home, March 20th through April 4th, 2008.
After undergoing a complete right knee replacement, it was necessary rehabilitation play a role in my recovery. I could not have chosen a better place. Field Home has a wonderful group of therapists, all dedicated, skillful, energetic, patient, good natured and willing to give their all.
The director Joseph Sullivan, An Marie, Maria, Sahadia, Nancy, Joseph Goff, Todd, Gallina and all in Rehab have my thanks and appreciation. The therapists did a superb job preparing me to be discharged. Accolades to all of them. They are a fantastic group.
My gratitude to Dr. Matthew, the Nursing Staff, Nurse's Aides and Marisol, who were prompt looking into and taking care of my needs and discomforts; who demonstrated the consideration so necessary and important.
I was fortunate having Sally Ippolito assigned to me as my Social Service Representative who made certain I left Field Home properly taken care of. She adds to the glow of Field Home.
Social Service Director Katherine Becker set up a meeting with the department directors handling my case before I was to be discharged and here again, I was impressed with the interest of all involved with my concern.
While at Field Home, no matter who I came in contact with, no matter what their job was, were always very friendly. There was Jacqueline who works at the Nurse's Station always had a smile and greeting,. Another plus for Field Home-Holy Comforter.
Many Thanks To All Of You,
Gus Gazzola
