On Monday, May 19th, FIELDHOME held it's annual campus employee and trustee recognition ceremony. The simple, yet elegant ceremony celebrates the outstanding effort and contribution made year-round by the campus' nearly 450 employees and nearly 20 Board Trustees.

This year's event proudly recognized numerous staff and trustees for their many years of dedicated services including two with 40 years; one with 35 years; one with 25 years; eight with 20 years; 2 with 15 years; 4 with 10 years and twenty with 5 years.

The 2008 Recognition Ceremony was dedicated to Ms. Betty D. Ashton, Trustee Emeritus, in recognition of her 20 years of service to FIELDHOME and those we serve.

COMMUNITY BREAKFAST SEMINAR A HUGE SUCCESS!

As part of our commitment to the community, FIELDHOME and COMMUNITY ORTHOPAEDICS (offices in Hawthorne and Fishkill) co-hosted a free breakfast seminar. The event was held on April 3rd for an enthusiastic audience of over 60 members from the community.

Scott Russinoff, MD of University Orthopaedics and, now also with the Hudson Valley Hospital Center, spoke on Treatment Options for Hip and Knee Arthritis followed by an informative question and answer session. In addition to Dr. Russinoff, Joseph Sullivan, M.P.T., Director of Rehab for FIELDHOME spoke to the group about "Rehabilitation After Joint Replacement".

FIELDHOME extends its thanks to Scott Russinoff, MD; University Orthopaedics and to Joseph Sullivan for supporting and being a part of this great event. Consideration is being given to repeating this event in the summer or early Fall.

This was a free educational community event.

ONCE AGAIN... WE EARNED
TOP MARKS FOR QUALITY!

Both the FIELDHOME rehab/skilled nursing and The SEABURY at FIELDHOME again received great survey results from the New York State Department of Health. The annual comprehensive review once again recognized excellence in all areas of patient and resident care. “We continue to maintain exceptional care throughout the FIELDHOME campus and our annual Department of Health Survey results
reaffirm that continued commitment.” stated John Ahearn, CEO.
